PRESENTATION

In a 4 ha. domain in the Alcarria's heart "El Cerrao de San José" propose you to stay in a lovely country house situated in a restored traditional house.   

     You may book one of our 6 nice decorated double rooms with bath and heating and a beautiful panoramic view.   

     We offer also the possibility of renting an apartment in the same house, which includes two rooms and a living-room with a supplementary double-bed, and an American kitchen, for 4/6 persons.   

     In a ancient chapel, we have created a comfortable living-room, decorated with antique and typical objects of our region, and a friendly dining room with a warm fireplace. You will also enjoy the natural and beautiful landscape while you relax in one of our terraces.       

     We assure you are going to find in this special place a great tranquillity, good gastronomy, an attention, accommodation and facilities which will permit you to forget all the city life's problems.

OUR COUNTRY HOUSE OFFERS

Country house with an hotel service.    

     You can take breakfast and dinner, and choose between a menu or be delighted with the dishes proposed by Jesús, international Chef.    

     You can visit and appreciate a small typical village and appreciate its hospitalty and way of life. In any case, you can walk and see in the same property the numerous and various aromatics plants which make the famous Alcarria's honey.    

       But the most important remembrance of your stay will be our quality of life, a conciliatory resting, a limpid sky, starry nights, a natural and contrasted landscape and our people's hospitality.    

OUR REGION'S ACTIVITIES

The Alcarria' s region represents more than the third part of Guadalajara.    

     Universally known thanks to the books of a Nobel writer, Camilo José Cela, this region offers numerous naturals attractions with great contrasts : valleys, great plateaus, forests, spectaculars gorges, rivers and lakes, all that you'll be able to discover through a lot of ways.    

     One of this ways 'll conduce you to one of the few natural paradises which still exists in Spain, El PARQUE NATURAL DEL ALTO TAJO. In this preserve you can admire a wild territory and walk through beautiful canyons or swim in the crystal-clear water of the Tajo's river or else venture into the kayak descent.      

     The lakes way is one of the others very attractive ways. This route offers the best of the Alcarrias's country landscape with all the possibilities of the two great lakes of Entrepeñas and Buendia, known as the Castilla Sea. You can practice water sports or visit the tipical little village of the area.

     Moreover, all the region counst on an ample heritage in popular monuments, archaeological remains, and ruins of great interest:.       

     Villages of Cifuentes, Brihuega or Sigüenza. Cueva de los Casares. Monasterio de Buenafuente...    

You'll can also discover the beauty of our country trough another activities, as:               Fishing:      Intensive fishing in the Tajuña River or the Gargoles lakes.      Sport fishing in the Tajo River where the presence of trouts and otters is the guarantee of pure and clean waters.      Looking for mushrooms.
